Inspired by Miyuki Scheidel’s passion for music, the Foundation established scholarships at the University of North Florida for the study of classical music. The scholarships are awarded each year based on both merit and need, and allow students to travel abroad. Each year, the music scholars perform for the Scheidel Family and other students at the annual Scheidel Scholar Banquet.
